This is a fat, green podded okra. Seems to grow easier is slightly cooler conditions than other okra. Pick pods small or they will be tough.
When to sow: After risk of frost has passed in spring and soil is warm. November/December in Southern Australia. Sow direct where they are to grow as they don't like to be transplanted.
Plant Type: Tall stem/bush to 1.5m
Uses: fried or baked. I like to fry them until golden and sprinkle with salt.
