A fabulous little cucumber that is amazingly sweet but still holds a 'proper' cucumber flavour. Productive and small vined. Does not like very hot summer weather so may need afternoon shade.
When to sow:After risk of frost has passed in spring. Mid October to December in Southern Australia. Sow directly where they are to grow or sow in punnets and transplant out into the garden when they are big enough to handle. Avoid damaging the roots when transplanting.
Plant Type: Trailing vine
Uses: Eat fresh in salads or sandwiches. No need to peel.
Growing Conditions:Needs good, well drained soil. Water regularly in Summer. Some light or afternoon shade is good.
Special Qualities: Productive. Very tasty even for people who don't usually like cucumber.
